THE TRIP PLANNING SITE
THE TRIP PLANNING SITE

Whilst working at Lazytrips.com I was asked to help them brand and design their UI whilst also thinking about possible options for a new user journey/navigation.

THE GAP IN THE MARKET Booking and planning multi city holidays can become messy and tiresome when it requires multiple apps, tabs and websites. Pricing trips manually, so as not to go over budget, is unnecessary work.

THE OBJECTIVE Bring all the aspects of trip planning into one central place so that inspiration, planning and booking is all in one on a digital platform.

THE SOLUTION Inspire users to travel and to show them where they can go using LazyTrips with articles and information. To create an application that allows users to book multiple hotels and plan their trips in one place.

Version 1 included a ‘planner’. The planner was a stand alone page where users could add cities, places to go, things to do and book hotels so that all their information was in one place.
RESEARCH STAGE
After a round of user research, we prioritised edits we wanted to make to the planner UI / UX to try and make it more user friendly. We mapped out the new user journey with highlighted 'goal pages' and altered the UI to fit the updated user journey.
